Events, training and visits

Invitations and responses, without rebuilding the picture from messages.

HumanDesk brings meetings, training, audits and scheduled visits together. Organisers set people, place and times; invitees see the appointment and, when requested, respond in the same space.

The real problem

The appointment is set, but its information remains scattered.

A calendar date is not enough when the place, programme, invitees and responses live in different tools. Every change makes the organiser rebuild the picture.

Invitations travel through chats

Date, time and place get lost among replies and unrelated conversations.

Responses are counted manually

Organisers must separately work out who accepted, declined or has not replied.

Training and meetings need different rules

Mandatory status, recurrence, attachments and reminders vary by event type.

Visits need individual times

One general time is not enough when each person must arrive at a different time.

How it works

From organising to responding in three steps.

1

Prepare the event

Choose its type, title, date, place and people. Available options follow the configured event type.

2

Invite the team

The event appears to the people involved with its practical details and any attachment.

3

Check responses

When RSVP is enabled, organisers see acceptances, declines and responses still pending.

Each type enables only what it needs

Meetings, training, audits and visits can use different rules for mandatory status, RSVP, attachments, recurrence, reminders and individual times.

Events and responses

The practical picture stays on the same card.

Period controls, search and month, week or day views help find appointments. Each card shows the useful details and the response status collected so far.

Mandatory or optional

A clear label communicates the nature of the invitation.

Recurrence and attachments

Enabled events can repeat and include an operational document.

Responses summarised

Accepted, declined and pending invitees remain visible to event managers.

Shared calendar

Events and leave meet in the calendar.

Training, meetings and audits appear beside holiday, time off, sickness and closures. Filters show only the calendars needed at that moment.

Scheduled visits

A time for each person, without turning HumanDesk into a medical record.

For types with individual appointments, organisers assign an arrival time to each invitee. The person sees their time and the card summarises the operational sequence.

  • Individual invitee times
  • Place and practical instructions
  • No diagnoses or reports in the event
Clear boundaries

Appointment organisation, not specialist management.

  • A response does not certify actual attendance, course completion or the award of a qualification.
  • HumanDesk does not replace an LMS, training compliance duties or mandatory-expiry checks.
  • Visits hold operational details only: diagnoses, medical histories, reports and other clinical data do not belong in the event.
  • External calendars, providers and other systems require integrations to be assessed and tested separately.

The calendar also contains leave
